The CEAP mission statement was approved by the CEAP at the April 9 meeting.
Mission
The Community Environmental Action Partnership, a collaborative citywide initiative, engages the various segments of the Palo Alto community to identify opportunities and create and implement sustainable environmental solutions.
During the March 5th, 2008 meeting, CEAP participants suggested various possible refinements to this statement, none of which garnered more support than the original draft. Results from this collaboration and voting may be found in

I added alternative (1) based on the discussion in Group 10 last night. CEAP might get active on many environmental fronts, so we felt it was very important for the mission to remind us to prioritize the various things the community may be working on -- especially, for example, with regard to climate change.
